Here is the famous chive flower vinegar from La Ferme Humminghill. This is the vinegar that launched this West Bolton agri-food company.
To produce it, 50 chives flowers picked at dawn when they are full of morning dew are left to macerate for several weeks. This is what gives it its sweet scent and beautiful color.
Excellent for mild vinaigrettes, tomatoes and oysters, its sweetness does not mask the taste of foods.
