Shipping Fee Policy

DELIVERY SERVICE

Our deliveries are normally made by Canada Post but may sometimes, at our discretion, be made by another delivery service.

PRICES (online orders)*

Quebec and Ontario

Delivery of orders worth $99 or more before taxes is free in Quebec and Ontario provided that it is made to a single address and in a single shipment.

A flat fee of $12.95 applies to orders under $99 (minimum order $30).

If the customer wishes to use a delivery service other than the one we offer, the customer must agree to cover the costs.

The shipping method used for free shipping and flat rate is Canada Post's "Expedited Parcel" rate which guarantees delivery within 1 to 7 business days or a comparable service offered by another carrier selected by us.

Rest of Canada

Shipping charges for other provinces in Canada are $15 for orders of $99 and more before taxes. For orders under $99, the charges are $20. These rates apply to deliveries made by Canada Post, to a single address and in a single shipment.

Remote areas

Please note that additional shipping charges may apply for certain remote areas in Canada. In such a case, we will contact the customer to obtain their agreement before shipping.

At the time of finalizing the purchase, the customer can select other rates offered by Canada Post. The fees are then displayed at the time of making the payment.

INCORRECT ADDRESSES / UNCLAIMED PACKAGES

In cases where packages are returned to us because an incomplete or incorrect address was provided, only the cost of the products will be refunded. From this, the return cost required by the delivery service will be deducted. The refund will be made by the same means of payment used for the purchase.

The same policy applies for unclaimed packages returned to us by the carrier.

PACKAGE NOT RECEIVED

If a package identified as “Delivered” by the delivery service has not been received, please check any PO Box or PO Box associated with the delivery address. Canada Post does not always deliver directly to the door. If the package is not found after 24 hours, please contact us. We will take steps with the delivery service to verify the situation.

Please note that we are not responsible for lost packages in cases where the destination address provided is incomplete or incorrect. We will nevertheless take steps with the delivery service to try to find out what happened to the package.

PICK UP IN STORE

A free “Pick up in store” option is available for all orders. Pick-up of the order must then be made at Gourmande boutique at 2249 King Street West in Sherbrooke during regular business hours.

*These rates apply to orders placed online. If the order is placed in person or by phone, delivery charges reflecting the actual shipping costs, therefore higher, are applied due to the resulting workload.
