A passion for the land... For over 10 years

Did you know that promoting gourmet local products and their artisan producers has been the reason for Gourmande boutique's existence for over 10 years?

Long before the pandemic and the current price war, as a gourmet shop owner, I became interested in this very appealing world.

From the company's inception in 2013, I have participated in numerous trade shows, fairs, and markets, where I have met a multitude of small-scale food artisans who passionately showcase the fruits of their expertise. And that's when the magic happens.

I discovered a world of passionate people and connected with several of them. I observed how difficult it is for them to promote their products and make them accessible to the widest possible audience.

I am therefore integrating more and more of their products into my offering, so that little by little, Gourmande boutique is coming to specialize in marketing gourmet artisanal products.

Today, the products of about a hundred Quebec producers are offered at Gourmande boutique , both online and at the Promenades King store in Sherbrooke.

I am proud of the bonds I have forged with these artisans. To see them, year after year, tirelessly pursue their noble mission of nourishing us and offering us variety, all while maintaining a strong focus on product quality, adhering to demanding standards, and respecting our environment.

Over the years, I've seen them work tirelessly to keep their businesses afloat. I've witnessed their efforts to constantly improve their products. I've appreciated their drive to innovate when they presented their new products to me. I've watched their children grow up, accompanying them on deliveries. I've also seen how difficult this profession is. Indeed, I've seen wonderful companies close due to a lack of successors or simply from burnout.

In these times, when everything is in turmoil, when even our food supply is threatened, it is more important than ever to support these local producers and the businesses that promote their products.

I therefore encourage you, too, to become passionate about our local area.
