The Gorria pepper is best known as the pepper grown in the Basque Country. This variety is also used to produce the famous "Espelette pepper," which is grown in the Montérégie region of Quebec.
It is quite mild and bright red in color. Its flavor is reminiscent of roasted bell pepper or even tomato.
It can be used for everything: fish, meat or poultry stews, charcuterie, omelets, etc. It is a very fruity chili pepper, which can also be used very well as a finishing touch on all dishes.
