Saskatoon jelly
Saskatoon jelly
Also called little pear, saskatoon berry is a small berry picked at the beginning of summer. It was once widely consumed, particularly by Aboriginal people. Its taste is very sweet and reminiscent of blueberries and, according to some, almonds.
This amelance jelly is produced by La Cidrerie et Vergers Pedneault in Isle-aux-Coudres where fruits grow in abundance thanks to the microclimate of the Isle.
It will be delicious on your toast, croissants, ice cream, canapes, poultry and game.
