This fleur de sel adds the final touch to refined dishes. It has a delicate taste, an airy texture and fine crystals that melt in the mouth.
This salt comes from the Trapani and Paceco nature reserve, in Sicily, an area that has been home to salt marshes for several centuries. Even today, the salt is partly harvested by hand using an age-old method, then crushed using wind energy from the many windmills still present.
