The Boreal Gourmet Duo will delight even the most discerning epicureans and makes a unique and sophisticated gift idea.

This set of two seasonings is a Gourmande boutique exclusive developed in collaboration with Les As du fumoir entirely from local ingredients.

The duo includes Sel gourmand, produced using Saint-Laurent salt (Grandes-Bergeronnes) smoked with wood from barrels that were first used for whisky production and then recovered by Virgin Mady (Bury) to age some of their excellent maple syrup in barrels.

The result: an exceptional salt with a rich and complex flavor, with slightly caramelized woody notes doubled by an additional depth brought by maple syrup.

Boreal Explosion , meanwhile, is a lightly smoky seasoning that reveals the contrasting flavors of authentic Quebec terroir. Saint-Laurent salt, extracted from the pure waters of the Labrador Current, brings its delicate marine touch; the Charlevoix gorria pepper adds its subtle heat; and finally, dune pepper harvested in the boreal regions pleasantly completes this symphony of flavors.
