How did you come to create your company?

Josianne and Frédérick:
The company stems from a passion for cooking and the art of smoking. Frédérick developed a particular interest in smoking from his father. It is a family activity that has become a real passion for him over the years. Even today, Frédérick and his father share moments to discuss their smoking experiences or recipes that they have tested for pure gastronomic pleasure.

Which of your products is the most popular?

Josianne and Frédérick:
Our most popular product is the Forestry Mix but it is followed very closely by the BBQ Master Mix .

Gourmet shop:
And you personally, what is your favorite product?

Josianne and Frédérick:
If he had to choose one product among all, Frédérick would definitely opt for his smoked pasta because, as he says, "pasta is life!" A pasta addict, he loves to vary the ways he prepares it and enjoy the originality of the product. " Our pasta can be used in a thousand and one ways, the result is always delicious. This way, you can enjoy a variety of meals without that feeling of déjà vu. "
For her part, Josianne leans more towards the Spring Mix. Since it is the first seasoning mix created by the company, it is the one she has tested the most in everyday life. What's more, the small touch of maple sugar that goes into its composition helps with caramelization when cooking meat. She also loves using it to add flavor to a dip. It is truly an all-purpose seasoning that really harmonizes well with white meats and the type of cuisine she likes.

Do you have any unusual or particularly tasty suggestions for using your products?

Josianne and Frédérick:
We love adding smoked pasta to our soups. It gives them a bacon-like flavor.

What do you appreciate most about being local artisans?

Josianne and Frédérick:
One of the things we appreciate most in our role as local artisans is the opportunity to contribute to showcasing Quebec products and introducing them to Quebecers.

Tell us about your upcoming projects.

Josianne and Frédérick:
We have several partnerships in discussion with other Quebec producers that could see the light of day by the end of the year, including a project to develop products exclusive to Gourmande boutique .
