Today we introduce you to both a supplier and a customer, but only one company. How is it possible? Quite simply through a collaboration between two local companies who are committed to offering quality regional products. This company with which we like to collaborate is the renowned Savonnerie des Diligences.
La Savonnerie des Diligences is a committed and green family business, which was founded in 2005 by a dynamic woman, Marie-Ève Lejour. At the foot of magnificent Mont Orford, at 439 rue Principale in Eastman, you are welcomed all year round in a charming boutique.
In the store, you will enjoy discovering and smelling a wide selection of soaps with names more evocative than the others because, you will learn, each soap is associated with a fabulous legend. In addition, it is important to note that all of these soaps are made from natural products, among others: olive oil, coconut oil, beeswax, etc.
If this visit has whetted your appetite, you will only have to take a few steps to enter Le Refuge, a mountain café, the little brother of La Savonnerie. Sophie will welcome you with a smile to offer you delicious food to eat on site or to take away. This little gem of a café also offers a charming terrace where you can enjoy a view of the cliff and its lush green nature. (Please note that the Le Refuge café has closed its doors since this article was written.)
But, will you tell us, where is the collaboration that you spoke to us about a little earlier? Well, know that you can find a range of our Un Monde de Noix nuts at the Le Refuge café. And that, on the other hand, our store in Sherbrooke offers a “kitchen” range of soaps from Savonnerie des Diligences.
What do you say, isn’t this a great story of collaboration?
